A Dark & Cozy Cottage Office for Art (& Golf) Lovers

Dark interiors are really having a moment and I am very much on board! To be honest, they used to intimidate me. Dark paint colors, that is. But now I want to paint everything dark! (the wall color here is Sherwin Williams Seaworthy) It has depth and soul and is the perfect backdrop for a beautiful mirror, a warm wood-toned dresser or a carefully curated gallery wall.

And speaking of gallery walls and art, I’m super excited to share this dark & cozy office cottage with you today! We teamed up with our friends over at Lie + Loft who create beautiful golf-inspired prints, photography, pottery and other goods that marry their love of golf and home and styled out this (already very cute) cottage house.

Let’s take a little tour!

If I’m being honest I’m not a golfer. Like I have zero clues on any of it and have only been to a driving range once in my life (and I was TERRIBLE)! But my clients happen to be avid golfers and lovers of great design so when I found this great local source that connected home + golf, it was a match made in heaven!

We worked together to curate that narrow gallery wall with a mix of their beautiful prints and paintings. I love how each piece is a bit different in style and medium but they all connect and flow beautifully!

This little cottage is part lounge area and part office as you can see the built-ins on the other side of the room. It actually has 2 bathrooms and a bedroom upstairs but all in tiny size. It’s very very cute!

We styled the built-ins with books, vintage, found objects and of course more of those fantastic framed prints from Lie + Loft.

Are you feeling the dark vibes as much as I am? And how good are those prints?!

As always, I got ya covered on sources below. The links are below the image.

Thanks for stoping by!
